Carniola Farms Nursery, located on Maryland’s eastern shore, specializes in native plants, fruiting plants, herbs, and unusual plants. Plants can be purchased at any time of year by appointment. We also operate Arlington Native Plants & Edibles located at 925 N. Madison St. Arlington Virginia 22205. Plants can be purchased at any time by making an email appointment at carniolafarms@gmail.com.

No neonicotinoids, herbicides or pesticides are used on our farm or on any plants. We grow our own plants by seed, cuttings, or by division.
Spring is an excellent time to plant trees and shrubs. Consider planting native witch hazel or winter berry, both of which provide color in winter.

We have a large selection of berry and fruiting plants: Snowberry (a natural white variation of the blackberry, pests leave them alone). strawberry, raspberry, pomegranate, paw paw, persimmon, cranberry, honeyberry, blueberry, currant, gojiberry, pineapple guava, dragon fruit, and fig trees and more.
Unusual Plants
We also sell less commonly found plants, including the monkey puzzle tree, a white blackberry, and a dwarf pomegranate container plant, pictured below.
